I am really new when it comes to the whole blogging thing. When I say new, I mean this is only my fourth post since I’
ve begun. I started a blog to spotlight things I have going on in my little shop. Of course, I’m still working on getting my shop “just right” before I really start sharing it so I just blog about what’s going on in my life. My title, “Amongst Other Things”, definitely reflects what will become a
mish mash of topics. My interests are eclectic, which is why SITS has been the perfect place for me. The Secret is in the Sauce blog was introduced to me by my cousin, Kat, over at
Sunshine and Lemonade. She told me that it would be the perfect place to link up to other blogs and just really get out there. I haven’t exactly “linked” up with anyone yet, as I am still really new, but I’
ve definitely started stalking some of their amazing
blogists. SITS offers me a wide array of blogs to peruse through and really wet my eclectic taste buds with. For instance in my short time since I’

Life Just Keeps Getting Weirder - she is so my sense of humor! Or how about the crafty lady over at,
Pretty Paper Blog, she’s amazing with paper! Of course I always tune into seeing what Kat has going on at,
Sunshine and Lemonade I may not have found her through SITS but she did lead me to it. I like reading “Life as a Mom at 21” because I can relate to it (after all I was a mom at that age too).
The Secret is in the Sauce has so many great blogs to read through that I could just list them all, I really haven’t found one that I haven’t just loved or related to in some way.
The R Family Diaries is another example – I loved what she did with the ribbon and pumpkins. It’s so cute! These are just a handful of amazing women you’ll find over at SITS, so if you haven’t gone over before now go take a gander and become a
SITSA too. When you become a
sitsa you get a sweet little badge to put up on your own blog that looks like this
and then you’ll be able to recognize all the other
sitsa’s . But
be careful because you may become a stalker, a comment junkie, and maybe even saucy. In my opinion I think SITS has it right. The secret to this whole blog thing, really is in the sauce.
btw..after I posted this to my blog I was tweaking my site and
accidentally deleted my entire blog. Talk about a heart attack! Even my husband feels sorry for me. At least I saved today's post so here I am.
